Bereavement services are an essential component of the hospice program. Grief is a natural and complex reaction to the death of a loved one. Survivors struggle with emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and economic changes. Our programs offer various healthy environments in which to feel safe and accepted while navigating through this difficult time.

Instructional Grief Support Groups: These
sessions meet once a week for eight weeks and are offered in Redmond,
Sisters, and Crooked River Ranch.
Grief In Schools: Bereavement
support groups for children....offered in the Redmond elementary/middle
schools.
Soup & Support: Join
a group of bereaved that meet once a month for support and socialization.
Bereavement Companions: A
thirteen month commitment by a bereavement volunteer to offer additional
support.
A
grief camp for children ages 7-14
Garden Party: Ice
cream social to honor those whose names appear in the Garden of
Memories
Light Up a Life: A
December memorial to honor loved ones.
Social Programs: Quilters
Club, Senior Supper, Gentlemenís Coffee and others designed to
provide an understanding and supportive environment to ease back
into the social world.
Individual Bereavement Counseling: Bereavement
programs are not restricted to patient family members. Our services
are available to all members of the greater Central Oregon community.
Whether you are dealing with your own grief or looking for ways

Library for books or tapes to help you better understand
the grief journey.
